New York Times review of Good for Nothing
“Mr. Wallis, an alumnus of Peter Jackson's Weta Digital complex in Wellington and a first-time feature filmmaker, has cast his movie with the right grizzled faces. He also takes maximum advantage of the wide screen and his country's amber fields, open skies and imposing mountain ranges, abetted by his skilled cinematographer, Mathew Knight. 'Good for Nothing' may be slight, but it portends a promising frontier for Mr. Wallis.”
